A cat which escaped just days after his family moved to Thame last year is still missing, but his owners haven’t given up hope yet.
Three-year-old ginger tom Jasper made a dash for freedom after Chrissy Dromgoole opened the front door on returning home on December 4, but he hasn’t been seen since.
The family moved 190 miles from East Devon in late November, bringing with them their two other cats, Fluffy and Bubble.
Chrissy’s daughter Maddy, 16, adopted Jasper when he was just a kitten and has been left distraught without her furry pal.
Chrissy said: “He wasn’t microchipped but he had a silver collar with all our contact details on. But if that’s come off, there’s no way of anyone know he’s ours. He is much missed.”
But despite blanketing the area with posters, registering with vets and several false sightings, Jasper is still no where to be found.
He had a bit of a reputation for being a bruiser in the cat world, meaning his most distinctive feature was his two torn ears. Chrissy said: “He was always getting into scraps with our ex-neighbour’s cat”
