To celebrate its 35th birthday a Thame business has donated a utility vehicle to the town council to help them keep the area looking tidy.

Kubota UK employs more than 100 staff in Dormer Road and the donation of the RTV900, which will help council workers keep the town looking its best, is one of many initiatives planned as part of its year-long celebration.

Dave Roberts, Kubota MD, has worked at the company for 22 of its 35 years.

He said: “Thame has been our UK home for many years, and we’re extremely proud to continue to play a role in this thriving community.

“Building links with local business is vital to us, and we’re delighted to be able to show our gratitude to the town council, who have long been a valued and key customer of ours.”

The Mayor of Thame, Councillor Peter Lambert, was at the presentation and said the generosity was ‘greatly appreciated’.
