Aylesbury’s Alex Novakovic has said hello from Boston with a special thank you postcard.
Readers helped raised more than £200,000 in a week to send the seven-year-old to America for life-saving cancer therapy.
The Bedgrove Infant pupil, who is undergoing daily treatment at the Massachusetts General Hospital, has sent a postcard to thank everyone who helped raise the money.
He said: “Thank you for helping me get to Boston.
“Feeling good, see you soon.”
Alex is in the fourth out of five weeks of proton therapy.
More than £400,000 was raised to support Alex.
Funds not needed for therapy will go towards post-treatment care he may need.
Any money that is left over after this will go towards charity Kids ‘n’ Cancer, which has been supporting Alex.
