The Falcon group from Long Crendon Cubs have completed their air activity badges after visiting Haddenham airfield.
Chief flying instructor Michael Clark taught the children about flying, before they helped with preparing and then launching an aircraft.
The Cubs also had the chance to see a couple of Second World War gliders, before launching some parents and the group’s leader into the sky.
Cubs leader Elaine Pickup said: “The visit to Haddenham airfield is definitely worth doing.
“I took ten of mine this morning and despite not being able to fly they had a great time.”
