County councillors will be at Bucks’ train stations next week, talking to early morning commuters about a residents’ survey on tax hikes and council services.
The survey is asking residents to give their views on proposed council tax increase options for next year of 2 per cent, 4 per cent or 5 per cent, and on which council services they value most.
The survey can be completed online via the county council website until the closing date of November 18.
Councillors will be at stations between 7am and 8am on the following dates/locations:
On Monday morning Councillor Brian Adam will be at Aylesbury train station, while his UKIP colleague Andy Huxley will be there on Friday.
Councillor Margaret Aston will be at Haddenham and Thame Parkway on Monday. Fellow Tory Bill Bendyshe-Brown will be surveying commuters at Princes Risborough on Friday.
Paper copies are also available to pick up from libraries, children’s centres, adult learning centres and county council offices in Aylesbury and Wycombe.
Two survey respondents will be able to win one of two cash prizes of £100 each.
