Buildings and land owned by Bucks County Council should be used to create maximum profits according to cabinet chiefs.

Buildings and land owned by Bucks County Council should be used to create maximum profits according to cabinet chiefs.

Instead of just selling on assets, it was agreed in principle to look into other schemes. However leader Martin Tett said this should not impact the environment.

He said: “The council should not seek to maximise assets where doing so would have an impact on the environment.

“The consequences of that would be very undesirable and I would personally have some reluctance to initiate that.

“We have to have a degree of responsibility.”
