Cash and electrical items were stolen during a burglary in Bedgrove yesterday.

Crooks broke into the Long Meadow home between 10.45am and 5.30pm and stole cash, an Advent laptop and a Nexus7 Asus.

The burglars got in through a rear patio door and ransacked the upstairs of the property.

PC Samantha Stansbie said: “This is a busy road in Aylesbury and I am interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area.”

Police said there was a second burglary in the area yesterday, but have not released further details.

Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale tweeted that there were extra patrols taking place on the Aylesbury estate supported by PCSOs giving crime prevention advice.

Call police on 101 with information or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
