Leading high street shoe retailer Office is to open a store in Friars Square, Aylesbury, in July.
The 2,600 sq ft store caps a year of huge change at the shopping centre, with brands including H&M, Topshop and Pandora all added to the mix following a £2.4 million development of the central square area.
Office, which will be located between Superdrug and H&M, has a successful own label and also stocks famous brands such as Converse, Nike, New Balance, Dr Martens and Vans.
It will create 12 jobs.
Sharon Bloodworth, asset manager at Grosvenor Fund Management, which runs the shopping centre, said; “We are delighted to confirm that Office will soon be joining the store line-up at Friars Square. “Our research told us that our shoppers wanted to see an improved fashion and footwear offer within their scheme.
“The Office store is the culmination of a very busy and highly successful 18 months which has answered our shoppers’ desires.
“We look forward to continuing to play our role in the ongoing transformation of Aylesbury as modern, vibrant and regionally significant retail destination”.
Grosvenor Fund Management also confirmed that the second stage of development works at Friars Square, which will see the conversion of the former council offices above the centre into a total of 50 residential apartments, is on schedule for the target completion date of February 2015.
