A group of youngsters from the Castielli School of Dance in Aylesbury have qualified for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing finals next month.
The team of 36 dancers qualified for the National Grand Finals to be held in Guildford, Surrey, on Sunday October 13, after finishing first in the local area competition.
The school was founded in the town in 1987 by 56-year-old Janet McDonnell, who has been a dance teacher for 26 years.
Mrs McDonnell said: “The dancing is a mixture of disco, freestyle, rock and roll and streetdancing.
“The girls are improving every year and it is great to have such a range of ages within our team for the finals, from age six right up to mid-20s.”
