Oving-based rock and soul band The Black Boys play a fundraising gig on Saturday (November 3) at the Limelight Theatre in aid of the Queens Park Arts Centre’s Christmas pantomime Cinderella.

Band vocalist Elaine Conway is also the lead costume designer for the pantomime, which she is determined to make even bigger and better than last year’s.

Elaine is a dedicated member and tutor at Queens Park Arts Centre, where she also teaches a weekly Batik class.

The band will play raw rock’n’roll inspired by the Rolling Stones and Thin Lizzy, as well as ’80s and ’90s music by Robbie Williams and Katrina and the Waves. Tickets cost £10 and £8, available from the theatre on 01296 431272.
