A Long Crendon horse centre, which helps children with autism and learning difficulties, has been boosted by a grant from Two Times Tack.

The company, which is also based in Long Crendon, came forward to offer its support following an article in the Thame Gazette.

During a visit to the centre, managers at Two Times Tack gave the first donation to the cause and cited that it was the Gazette article which prompted them to help out.

Horsewyse is a not-for-profit company that uses horses to help children with autism, multiple learning difficulties and those with challenging behaviour. Based in Long Crendon, Horsewyse has seen some remarkable changes in the children they work with, including the use of verbal and non-verbal communication, managing anxiety, fear and anger, working as a team, increased concentration, the ability to understand danger, and learning to accept new people and situations.
