A MARTIAL arts club from Thame performed well at a recent competition.
A club from Langley challenged Thame Kickboxing Club but were quickly made to regret their actions when the Thame club wiped the floor with them.
Thame won the so-called South East Club Trophy 29-20 as the superior speed and skills of the team showed through to get the win.
The club was packed with people having to stand due to everyone who turned up to watch and cheer both teams on.
There was a great atmosphere with plenty of support for both sides.
The fighters were applauded by both clubs. There was some great fights and all carried out in a good friendly sprit.
Some of the parents commented on how good the fighters were and the atmosphere generated.
The club has been going for nearly two years and has already had some students make it into the South East team.
Run by instructor Ian Carter, the club trains at Thame Leisure Centre on Mondays, Wheatley Sports Centre on Wednesdays and Racquets on Saturday mornings.
