MORE than 5,000 are set to flock to this year’s Spirit of Tring music festival – which is now in its third year.
The not-for-profit event takes place over two days at Tring Athletic’s football ground on June 2 and 3 – the double bank holiday weekend for the Queen’s jubilee.
Saturday will kick off at 5pm with the winners of a talent search. The headline act is Cool Britannia, a West End style celebration of great British rock and pop music during the Queen’s 60 year reign.
The English National Orchestra perform on Sunday. An original Second World War Spitfire will take to the skies above them to perform a choreographed routine which will be in time with the music.
