A firm in Aylesbury has helped a charity in need of storage for its fundraising event.

The Aylesbury branch of the National Childbirth Trust turned to Store ‘N’ Go Self Storage for help storing large amounts of equipment for its nearly new sale.

It desperately needed space to keep items such as clothes rails, tills, bags, display boards and information leaflets safe and easily accessible.

Clare Thompson, from the trust, said: “Events like the nearly new sale are hugely important to us – it is our biggest fundraiser and enables us to continue to support parents.

“We’re very grateful that Store ‘N’ Go have helped us to keep what we need for the sales safe.

“We previously stored supplies at volunteers’ homes, but it wasn’t convenient and took up a lot of space.

“We approached Store ‘N’ Go to see if they could help and they have been very supportive and accommodating by offering us a unit free of charge.”

The nearly new sale was held at The Grange School and attracted more than 300 visitors.

With the help of 70 volunteers and 85 sellers, the trust raised around £2,300.

The next sale is on 10 November at The Grange School.
