THE town’s newest dentist has spoken about his career, his profession and why he has set up in Thame.
Dr Adam Conradi has just taken ownership of the Park Street Dental Clinic at the top of the High Street and is looking forward to being part of the community.
He said: “Thame is such a charming old market town, so full of character. It makes an ideal base for visiting both the local area and nearby Oxford and London.
“The town has a great selection of independent shops and an abundance of local coffee houses, pubs and restaurants, which I look forward to sampling.
“The welcome I have so far received from everyone in the area has been wonderfully warm and positive. I look forward to building a life, a family and a future in the area over the upcoming years.”
“Having spent the last five years living and working around the Bristol and Bath area, my partner and I decided to settle somewhere more central, to be nearer to both our families.
“We also wanted to change from an inner city location to somewhere more rural and scenic.”
Speaking about his career so far he said the most common appointments concerned broken teeth, toothache, sensitive teeth, halitosis and bleeding gums.
“The most heart-breaking case was a 10-year-old girl who due to sugary drinks at bedtime needed 12 adult teeth extracting and false teeth for the rest of her life.”
