Hate crime services under review with fresh study

VICTIMS of hate crime have been urged to share their experiences after a new survey was launched by County Hall.

Bosses say the study will shape future support for victims, with group sessions scheduled for 2012. Councillor Margaret Aston said: “Hate crime has the capacity to ruin lives. It can take many forms, including physical attacks on a person or a property, abuse or intimidation, or bullying at school or in the workplace.

“The feedback we receive will help us to improve the support we offer hate crime victims.”

Information will be treated as confidential. The survey is open until January 6 2012 and is available at www.buckscc.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
