A THAME hair salon has been raising money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice after one of its staff lost a relative to cancer.
Hayley Mallott lost her aunt to breast cancer in September so her colleagues at Brothers Hair Salon in Buttermarket rallied round to raise money for the hospice which helped care for her aunt.
As part of their fundraising they have been holding a raffle all week. Tickets costs £1 with prizes generously donated by nearby businesses including GHD straightening irons, a £60 voucher for Kismet Jewellers, a hamper from Waitrose, lifestyle products from Aveda and a Nesspresso Coffee Machine from Domesco.
Manager Mark Green said: “We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, so we are really going that extra mile by encouraging as many members of staff, friends and family to purchase a raffle ticket.
“We have to say a big thankS to the local companies who provided some fantastic prizes.”
