A TROUPE of African dancers will be bringing the sights and sounds of the Savanna to Thame Leisure Centre this weekend.
The exciting and exuberant Adanta will be dancing on Saturday evening to celebrate the work of composer and explorer David Fanshawe.
Adanta is an award-winning group dedicated to preserving an appreciation of traditional African music, theatre, dance and culture.
They all performed from an early age with traditional dance groups in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa, and are skilled in choreography.
Thame choir Lord Williams’s Festival Chorus will also be singing David Fanshawe’s rousing and exhilarating African Sanctus.
