A LITTLE girl had to be sawn from a piece of play equipment after she caught her arm and coat in a playground rope bridge.

Staff at Oak Green School in Aylesbury were forced to call out the ambulance service and fire crews after the eight-year-old girl caught herself in the rope.

Headteacher at the school, Elaine Barry, said: “We had to phone the ambulance and fire because the ropes are so thick and contain metal, but luckily a member of staff was able to saw through the rope and let her out. She was not harmed.”
