Swimmers made a real splash as they dived into the inaugural Thame Rotary Swimathon on Sunday.
Around 60 people of different ages swam in teams of six or more for one hour.
Groups from Racquets, Lightfoots, Thame Swimming Club, Chinnor Cubs, Lord Williams’s School, Help for Alex and Haddenham Ducklings took part in the charity event.
All participants received a medal and a certificate.
Preisdent of the Thame Rotary Club, Bob Livings, said: “All teams had a fabulous time and helped raise around £1,000 for the nominated local charities for which the Rotary Club of Thame is very grateful.
“We hope to repeat the event each year.”
