A group of aspiring Aylesbury filmmakers have been filming their latest project which is to be entered into competitions and festivals around the UK.

The film, Chase, stars the Grange School’s Ric Ashley Smith and Gabriel Steele from the Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School.

The film centres around two brothers and their friends on a camping trip. Starting off as a fun trip away from the stresses of everyday life, the film quickly escalates and evolves into a traumatic situation which has disastrous consequences.

Created on a small budget and based on a true story, the film delves into human psychology and how far people will go to keep their secrets hidden.

The group have been doing much of the filming in the remote Shardeloes Equestrian Centre and Wood near Amersham. They hope to get the film finished and uploaded onto YouTube by October.

Mr Ashley Smith said: “All too easily you can forget that there are areas very near to where you live which are really amazing locations, especially for filming.”
