Young performers and organised children’s activities are set to make Thame’s Music in the Park a ‘great family day out’.
Activities for children will include the mega slide, bungee run and a disco dome.
Youngsters from around the area will also be performing, including the John Hampden School Choir and ‘Little Bill’s Big Band’, which comprises pupils from Lord Williams’s School.
Barley Hill Church’s children and youth team BASE will be running activities for children aged four to 12 in the children’s craft area.
Children can be left to enjoy a range of activities, allowing parents to enjoy the music and see the rest of the attractions at their own pace.
Sessions will be from 1-1.45pm, 2-2.45pm and 3-3.45pm and split between four to eight year olds and nine to 12 year olds.
There are 40 places available in each session and they will be free, although donations will be welcome.
Family tickets for Music in the Park, which is on May 12, are £20 in advance and £25 on the door.
These allow entry for two adults and three concessions.
