PEOPLE from Haddenham, Long Crendon and Thame flooded to a fun dog show at a charity fete.

Opened by local celebrity and author Bruce Alexander, who plays Supt Mullet in a Touch of Frost, the annual dog show in Stone was a great success.

Winners included Lulu the two-year-old black poodle named prettiest bitch and Cracker the three-year-old rescue dog crowned most handsome dog. The day raised more than £1,200 which will be used by organisers the League of Friends to pay for additional amenities for the residents of Chiltern View old people’s home.
