A charity fundraiser and world record attempt will be easier for schools after organisers said it will embrace the digital age.

Teachers and pupils from Thame schools involved in SignHealth’s sign2sing Guinness world record attempt next February will have access to digital packs including whiteboard apps.

The current record stands at 114,277 people.

Steve Powell, chief executive at SignHealth, said: “We believe the move to digital will make event participation more accessible and are hoping it will mean more Thame schools take part.”
