THESE adorable young puppies have been left homeless after their mother was sadly killed by a car.
Nicknamed the Scrum-ptious Squad, they are only six-weeks-old and are making quite an impression at the Lewknor Adoption Centre.
They have already stirred up quite an interest, with plenty of locals offering a home to the cute puppies.
But it has not been finalised where they will go, or indeed how many of them will stay together.
Deputy manager Jolene Gibbs said: “These pups are such little bruisers, it seemed perfect to name them after rugby players. They eat all the time and love to pass a ball around or pile into a scrum.”
When their mother died, the owner of the bouncy boxer-cross puppies spent three weeks hand-feeding them six times a day but they are now at the adoption centre and eating puppy meals.
