Appeared in Oxford Magistrates’ Court recently:

Julian Barker, 41, of Van Diemans Road, Thame, has been convicted of driving without due care and attention in Cornmarket, Thame, on October 16.

He was fined £75, told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs, and received four penalty points on his licence.

Robert Appleby, 20, of Chowns Close, Thame, admitted shoplifting alcohol valued at £11.99 from BP in Thame on September 11. Five other offences taken into consideration.

Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £71.94 compensation and £85 costs.
