Former mayor Adam Buckland has stepped down as a town councillor for Thame.
The news was announced this week on the town council’s website, saying: “It is with regret the council announces the resignation of Adam Buckland, councillor for South Ward, Thame.
“Adam has contributed immensely to the work of the Council during his nine years in office and his ‘youthful contribution’ will be greatly missed.
“He had a very successful year as Mayor of Thame encouraging and building on the community spirit within the town.
“Tidy Thame Day was one of Adam’s initiatives and continues to grow year on year.
“We wish Adam every success in the future.”
