Cleaning up in man’s memory

THE town is gearing up for the return of Tidy Thame this year, which will be dedicated to the popular Ben Guest who died last month.

Last year, Thame was left sparkling after a day of painting, cleaning, repairing, trimming and litter collecting. Residents groups, youth organisations, emergency services, schools and the general public came together to spruce up the town. This year the event will take place from 10am to 4pm.

Refreshments will be provided at the Scouts HQ, Southern Road.

The day will be dedicated to Ben who organisers say ‘personified Thame’s community spirit’.
