THAME’S secondary school is performing Charles Dickens with a twist.

This year Lord Williams’s School is putting on a musical version of the popular festive story A Christmas Carol.

This version of the famous tale is written by Chris Blackwood with music from Piers Chatter Robinson.

The production has its first night on Thursday December 1 at 7pm in the Upper School Hall. There is another performance on the Friday night and for the first time there will be a matinee performance on the Saturday starting at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £3 per student and £5 per adult or £14 for a family tickets and can be purchased from the reprographics rooms.

The show will involve dance, drama, music and art. The project has been coordinated by the arranged by the music department while stage sets, props, costumes, choreography, lighting and sound have all been provided by students and staff.
