Christmas lights raise hundreds of pounds for charity
A DAD from Broadwater Avenue in Thame has raised £700 for charity from the Christmas lights outside his home.
Every year, Highways Agency worker Craig Simpson sets up the festive
lights outside his house in a bid to raise money for Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance.
He said: "Someone came down from Nottingham and took some pictures.
"It turned out he was the pilot for the Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and wanted to see how we are funding this one down here.
"He's put the pictures up on their website."
Mr Simpson said he particularly wanted to thank neighbour Mr Taplin who
each year donates 50.
