Children’s proms will feature music from the movies

Buckinghamshire’s very own Children’s Proms takes place on Saturday featuring music from Harry Potter and the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies.

The show will star the Aylesbury Concert Band, a wind instrument group known for performing at Christmas carol concerts throughout the Vale

The proms takes place at the Bucks Railway Centre in Quainton from 7pm.

Sheila Lobley from the venue said: “The Children’s Prom 2012 at the rail centre is a concert for children and the young at heart.

“It will be led by conductor Claire Lawrence, a serving musician in the RAF.

“The programme will feature pieces from The Jungle Book, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and conclude with some classic proms favourites.”

Tickets for the show are £8 for adults and £6.50 for children, A family ticket for two adults and two children is £20.
