A business park centre is bucking the trend and recession with a high uptake in its office space.

Thame Park Business Centre, which has office and warehouse units and is owned by Legal & General’s Industrial Property Investment Fund, has welcomed new occupiers such as Risborough Carers Ltd, Desktop Ideas Ltd, Thames Valley Police and RG2 Ltd in 2012.

Two further units arecurrently subjects of offers.

Director in LSH’s Oxford office, John Greaves, said: “The reason that Thame Park Business Centre has proved popular is because it offers genuine grade A accommodation in self-contained buildings in an established business location.

“The office market in Oxfordshire still proves to be challenging, with limited demand and vacancy rates remaining stables.

“However, these deals demonstrate that occupiers are prepared to commit to new leases, and capital expenditure, if the property suits their business requirements.”

There is currently a 19,490 sq ft industrial unit being marketed which provides two storey offices and ample parking and loading facilities. It also has full heating and lighting systems.
