SHOPPERS in Thame town centre will soon be able to profit from a loyalty card scheme.
Businesses are currently being approached to take part in the proposed scheme to boost the town’s economy.
The initiative will entitle card holders to a discount or reward when shopping at participating retailers.
With a launch planned in April, the Loyalty Card Scheme is one of the 21st Century Thame Partnership’s projects using SEEDA funding to support economic development.
The plastic card will cost shoppers a nominal fee of £1.
Unlike similar schemes in other Oxfordshire towns, it is free for retailers to join.
The scheme has the backing of many of the local, independent businesses.
