Cash strapped families hit by the recession often find it hard to budget effectively.
Some turn to borrowing from friends and family, while others have fallen foul to pay day lenders.
But a special event, run by Haddenham St Mary’s aims to debunk the myths surrounding family and personal finance and help you budget better.
A spokesman for the Christians Against Poverty money course, which runs on Saturday, October 4, said: “Do you wish to understand your finances better?
“Do you feel your finances are out of control?
“If so the come to our free course.”
The course starts at 9.30am at St Mary’s Centre, and there is an optional afternoon session for anyone who would like to stay for practical help.
A light lunch will be provided for attendees.
To find out more call the centre on 01844 291108 (daytime) or 01844 290583 (evening).
