Jewellery and electrical items have been stolen from two properties in Aylesbury.

Burglars broke into a house in Dalesford Road by removing locks to rear UPVC doors, ransacked the property and stole electrical items and jewellery between 4.30am on October 24 and 9.30pm on October 31.

The incident in David Close took place between 9am on October 26 and 12.05pm on November 1 when crooks also gained entry by removing locks to rear UPVC doors.

The offenders carried out an untidy search and stole jewellery.

The burglaries happened within days of three other homes with UPVC doors being targeted.

Det Con Bruce Wilson said: “A Mercedes was seen in the area around the times of the burglaries.

“It is believed that these burglaries are connected and the investigation is ongoing.”
