Firefighters in Bucksinghamshire will stage a strike on Wednesday for a third time in two weeks.
The Fire Brigades Union, which is in dispute with the Government over pensions, has announced the latest strike will last from 10am to 2pm on November 13.
Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service has contingency plans in place to continue to serve the county during periods of industrial action but advise people to be as vigilant as possible.
Chief operating officer Jason Thelwell said: “We will obviously prioritise emergency calls where lives are at risk, and we will continue to provide as much information as possible to help people avoid having a fire or other emergency – not just during strike periods, but all year round.”
The union staged a four-and-a-half-hour strike on Friday, November 1 and a two-hour strike on Monday, November 4. They also walked out for four hours on September 25.
