Organisers of the Long Crendon fireworks are on the hunt for one lucky child to light the fuse on the annual spectacle.
A draw will be held to select one child to signal the start of the display, which attracted more than 1,000 people last year.
Organisers are hoping this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, with a barbecue, bar and much more on offer alongside the main attraction.
Abi Amor, from Long Crendon School, which will host the event, said: “It’s set to be a great local event that will attract many families and the children always have a fantastic time.”
To enter the draw to start the show, families just need to fill in their details on the tear-away section of the advanced tickets and give it back to the vendor.
The draw will be on November 5, four days before the show.
Tickets can be bought from October 14 from Autoparts in Thame High Street, Long Crendon School and The Flower Pot Coffee Shop in Long Crendon.
Advanced tickets are £6 for adults (£7.50 on the gate) and £4 for children (£5 on the gate).
The display starts at 5pm on November 9 in the Long Crendon School field.
