People have the chance to enjoy a free night of live music at the upcoming First Thursday Music Club event.

Thame’s biggest monthly music event will be headlined this month by Tanya Brewster and a group of musicians she met through the club.

The band, known as The Vibe, first took to the stage last month with impressive results and they have now been invited back to take the headline spot.

The Vibe is made up of Tanya on vocals, Kev Lucas on lead guitar, Chris Corfe on bass and Phil Heard on percussion.

The club, hosted at The Stables behind the James Figg, is all about giving musicians the chance to play in front of a large audience.

It also gives the audience a free night out and the opportunity to hear a whole range of different acts playing a variety of music styles.

Anyone wishing to play can sign up at the venue from 7.45pm onwards.

The next First Thursday night is being held on May 2.
