A SHOCKED householder discovered two burglars in his living room in the middle of the day.

At about 4.30pm on Thursday, May 10, a 22-year-old man was asleep at home in Cottesloe Road, when two men forced open the kitchen window at the rear of the house.

The victim woke up and walked into the living room where he saw the two men standing.

They then climbed out of the open window and ran down the garden into Birch Court.

Nothing was stolen.

The offenders are black, aged between 20 and 25, about 6ft, and of medium build.

They were both wearing dark hooded tops with the hood up and dark trousers. One of them was clean shaven and was carrying a black rucksack on his back, possibly black with white writing.

A black five-door Vauxhall Astra or Corsa, possibly a 08 plate, with tinted windows and high-spec hubcaps was seen in the area.

PC Lucy Hale, from Aylesbury police station, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who noticed two suspicious men or a vehicle fitting the above description.“

Anyone with information should call the Thames Valley Police 24-hour non-emergency number 101 and ask to speak to PC Hale.
