Asian gold worth thousands stolen from Aylesbury home

Thousands of pounds worth of Asian gold jewellery has been stolen from an Aylesbury home.

Two men broke into the Elmhurst Road property by climbing over a gate into the garden and forcing open a patio door window.

Once inside they ransacked the home and stole the jewellery.

The burglary happened at around 4.10pm on Friday (November 15).

The first man is white, 5ft 10ins, in his 30s and of a stocky build. He was wearing a black bomber style jacket with pockets and black jeans and he was carrying a bulky black rucksack.

The second man is black, aged about 30, 6ft, with a skinny build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a baggy waist-length black coat and blue jeans.

The men were seen heading away from the property towards Dunsham Lane.

PC Sam Stansbie said: “I would like to appeal to anyone in the area around the time of the incident.

“This was a very busy main road and the burglary took place during the rush hour period.

“Therefore, I am urging anyone that may have seen anything suspicious or able to provide any information to help progress the police investigation to contact the police.”
