THE GROUNDBREAKING Thame iPhone application has been updated after a successful first year in operation.

The ithame app is a piece of software which provides information for residents, visitors and businesses straight to their mobile phones.

The application is free of charge but can only be used in conjunction with iPhones.

The recent changes, undertaken by Thame-based company Adactus Ltd, are based on local user feedback.

Adactus has vastly improved the look and feel of the programme and has enhanced the business directory.

ithame developer Andy McDonald said: “I am delighted to have used a Thame-based company to build all the features that Thame people have requested.

“Adactus has built systems for major companies such as Pizza Hut, Whitbread and Aviva and now they have redesigned our local application.

“I am anticipating that most businesses in Thame will sign up to ithame given the investment that has gone into our local mobile information directory.”
