A THAME school has been visited by teachers from Gambia as part of an educational partnership.

Ousman Sallah and Foday Saidykhan from Brikama Upper Basic School were warmly welcomed to Lord Williams’s School by headteacher David Wybron.

The partnership is now in its ninth year and the Thame school is currently celebrating Gambia Week which provides numerous opportunities for the two schools to learn from each other.

Mr Sallah and Mr Saidykhan helped in technology and art lessons and joined students in fund raising activities for education in Gambia during a number of break times and lunchtimes throughout their visit to Thame.
