‘Affordable’ art shop opens in Great Missenden

CARINA Haslam’s permanent art gallery has opened at 91 High Street in Great Missenden, offering work from a variety of British artists.

The Bucks artist and designer (left), also known for her famous interior designer uncle Nicky Haslam, hand picks all the pieces from up-and-coming artists and says she wants the gallery to be ‘approachable’ and for people to look around even if they are unable to buy anything.

She said: “I have artists that are reasonably priced and very affordable, I get a lot of people who have never bought art before.” Prices vary from £250 for an oil painting to £4,000 for a life sized statue. Details at www.carinahaslamart.com
