A Lord Williams’s pupil will be living the dream this summer when she stars in the English Youth Ballet’s production of Sleeping Beauty.
Josephine Glover, 18, of Brill, will be appearing in the performance at Aylesbury’s Waterside Theatre as one of Aurora’s guests after she was selected from more than 200 young hopefuls.
“I’m really excited about fulfilling my potential in ballet,” she said.
“It’s more about the classes and being able to learn from the professionals.”
Josephine, who trained since the age of eight at Louise Austin School of Dance in Haddenham, is also awaiting her A-level results, with the hope of studying history at Oxford University this autumn.
“As I’m not pursuing a career in ballet, this will be my last chance to star in a production.”
Company manager Ben Garner said: “The audiences are in for an exciting experience, seeing both top international artists and the best up-and-coming young talent from their region, sharing the stage.”
