Thame Carnival was attended by hundreds of people this year who poured out onto the streets of the town to enjoy the parade and other various activities.
Tanya's School of Dance won the float competition while John Hampden School was the overall winner in the event.
Kerry Williams, who runs the school said there were brightly dressed girls and boys dancing on the float and they all had great fun in the event.
The classic car club put on a show and and the Red Kite Scooter Club gave a display in the main arena.
The event, which was held on Saturday, was marshalled by Chinnor Rugby Club. A fire engine made an appearance, hosing the crowd gently during the parade and providing a point of interest on the field.
Alison Isherwood from 21st Century Thame, which organised the event, said: "I want to thank the Chinnor Rugby Club who stepped in at the last moment and helped to marshall the roads.
"Also the Rotary club and the Lions Club deserve thanks for helping with the event."
