The Vale Brewery in Brill has won national acclaim for one of its beers.
Vale Pale Ale, a 4.2 per cent golden ale, was awarded bronze at the CAMRA organised Great British Beer Festival at Earls Court in London.

The beer was first brewed in 2007 and uses traditional English Maris Otter malted barley.

However, the hops come from America and it is these whole cone hops which work with the malt to produce a beer with a strong citrus overtones when either smelt or tasted.

Ian Mackey, Vale Brewery general manager said: "This is a beer that appeals to many tastes at our open days, lager drinkers have been know to convert to real ale after tasting this superb brew."
