A hypnotherapist from Thame has raised £1,400 after baldly going forth for charity.
Dani Dennington, of Croft Road, agreed to shave her head to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, but that's not the only good cause to benefit.

Her lost locks are being sent to the Little Princesses organisation, which provides natural wigs to children in the UK who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other causes.

Dani's husband Kevin did the honours with the hair clippers and Dani said she laughed all the way through the event.

"I would like to thank everyone for supporting me and donating to such a worthwhile cause," she added.

"I am now enjoying feeling the breeze and saving on shampoo for a while."

The shave took place at The Rollright Stones, near Chipping Norton, and about 50 people came to join in the occasion and enjoy a picnic.

Anyone who would like to add a donation can do so online at www.justgiving.com/daniheadshave
