Thame Service Station has received a national award at an event in Birmingham.
The garage was given the used car retailer award at the prestigious Automotive Management magazine industry awards which is celebrating its 19th year.
Nick Allen, sales director at Thame Service Station, said: "We're really pleased to add another award to our collection and to be recognised yet again throughout the industry.
"It shows that what we do here at TSS works, even in these more difficult times.
"Our philosophy is based simply on the customer experience.
"The staff we employ are chosen carefully to ensure customers are given a professional service; our environment is welcoming to ensure customers are comfortable to do business and our cars are picked and prepared to offer only the best of quality."
The business was shortlisted from hundreds of other used car retailers before triumphing on the evening last Wednesday in front of the great and the good from the industry.
Thame Service Station is an independent dealer that specialises in nearly-new Vauxhall, Ford and Saab cars and it received its
award for the high levels of customer satisfaction experienced at the garage.
Judges also looked for a robust used car policy, a good understanding of the issues affecting used car sales and business profitability, an innovative approach to business and marketing and an appreciation of the role of staff within the organisation.
The business started in 1994 and is one of the region's largest independent motor retailers.
