THE Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair held last month raised at least £2100 for Breast Cancer Campaign.
More than 600 visitors attended the fair, held on February 23 at Thame Leisure Centre, and they came from all over Britain- with one intrepid lady travelling from as far as South Africa.

The current total raised for Breast Cancer Campaign is £2,024.00 but is expected to rise, plus a further £152.92 was raised through a street collection in Thame Town Centre on the day of the event.

Organiser Celia Thomas, of KT Miniatures, said: "Amongst the 32 exhibitors, there were some of the finest miniaturist artisans in the country and their work was breathtaking.

"The local dolls house club, MTM Of Thame, displayed a wonderful exhibition of their creations and items from their own personal collections, to celebrate their sixth anniversary."

She thanked everybody who supported the fair and added that it will be taking place again next year on February 21at the same venue, to once again raiser money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

If anyone would like further information, to sponsor or get involved in some way, contact either Mrs Thomas on 01844 212520.
