After 26 years of dedicated service, Mrs Kath Painter has retired from working in the kitchen at Lord Williams's Upper School.
At a special ceremony to say goodbye to the dinnerlady and to thank her for her commitment, headteacher David Wybron presented Kath with a tea set.

Her friends and colleagues gave her a watch.

Now with lots of spare time, Kath is looking forward to spending more time with her husband and taking regular holidays.

Denise Madden said: "She was a lovely friendly and cheerful lady who came in and got on with her job for a great many years.
"Her face in the school canteen will be missed."
